The New Music Educational Project - My Ancient Guitar Two strings

Playing the Ancient Guitar - Two strings

General:
This is the same sized instrument but we have two tuning keys and we route two routes for the strings on both bridges  (We will route the big bridge only after we tightened the string - this way we can mark where to route so that the strings will be parallel to the finger board)

First we will make the full "How to play course" on one string - the lower one as it tuned to A (La) It is even most recommending to tight the second string only after the student master one string, purpose, each of the participant is able to play 0-1, 0-2, 0-3 and 04... Then we will tight the second string!

Our numeric system notes will base now on two lines; The lower string (the thicker) will be marked as while the higher string will be marked as Here is an example of blank lines:

String Tuned to: D [Re]D [Re] String is tuned to: A [La]A [La]

Playing two strings
We can play both styles:

Finger style    A. Finger style
like classical guitar.
  plectrum style    B. Plectrum style
like electric/jazz guitar, mandolin or Ud style.

Right hand In finger style we will use the same techniques and finger marks as we use in classical guitar,
the right hand fingers are marked with small inclined letters.
  The Spanish terms are:
p - pulgar
i - indice
m - medio
a - anular

Here is finger style example using p and i, m. You can write similar pieces yourself:

Right hand practice

Plectrum style is easier and you can play freely as you move from one string to another - In the full version...
