85. Saltarello - the circle dance

John Williams - Born in 1941 in Melbourne, Australia. Began playing the guitar at the age of seven, receiving his first lessons from his father. In 1952 his family moved to England and he began studying the guitar with A. Segovia.
Williams held scholarships for five years and then studied piano and musical theory at the Royal College Music in London. Many guitar compositions were written for and dedicated to him, such as the following Cavatina from the movie "The Deer Hunter."
